Skilled teams, anywhere in Australia.
Remote doesn’t mean harder. It means more prepared.
D&S Resources has built its reputation delivering in some of Australia’s most isolated and logistically demanding operating environments — from remote mining operations in the outback of South Australia to offshore islands and regional construction sites across the country.
We don’t treat remote as an afterthought. Our logistics, safety and mobilisation systems are built around the reality of working far from supply chains, support services and emergency response — and our teams are experienced in the discipline, self-sufficiency and communication that remote project delivery demands.
Whether you need a small specialist crew for a targeted scope or a full multi-discipline team for a major remote project, D&S Resources has the people, the systems and the track record to deliver.
A team you can rely on — whether the site is an hour from Adelaide or 500km into the outback.

Proven in Australia’s most remote locations
The D&S Resources project portfolio is dominated by remote and regional work. Our teams have delivered structural, mechanical, piping and civil scopes across some of South Australia’s most geographically isolated project sites:
BHP Carrapateena Remote copper-gold mine in South Australia’s Gawler Craton — multiple project scopes delivered including tailings pipeline installation, wellfield infrastructure and plant modifications.
Heathgate Resources — Beverley Uranium Mine Located approximately 550km north of Adelaide in the northern Flinders Ranges — trunk line construction and process works at one of Australia’s most remote operating uranium mines.
Iluka Resources — Jacinth-Ambrosia Located approximately 300km north-west of Ceduna in the Eucla Basin — single stream tailings conversion at one of the world’s most remote mineral sands operations.
Boss Energy — Honeymoon Uranium Project Wellfield SMP construction at the Honeymoon uranium mine site in outback South Australia — greenfield scope in a remote, logistically complex environment.
Rio Tinto Remote site services including potable water, firewater and stormwater infrastructure works — delivered within an operational camp and processing environment.
GE Renewable Energy — Murra Warra Windfarm Mobilised to regional Victoria (25km north of Horsham) for rotating stabiliser upgrade installation — demonstrating national deployment capability beyond South Australia.

Why pre-fabrication changes remote delivery
One of D&S Resources’ key advantages in remote contracting is our 7,000m² fabrication facility in Pooraka, Adelaide. By completing as much fabrication as possible in a controlled workshop environment before mobilising to site, we reduce the time and complexity of on-site work — which matters enormously when every extra day on a remote site carries significant cost.
Pipe spools, structural components, skids and modular assemblies are fabricated, inspected and documented in Pooraka before being transported to site ready to install. The result is faster installation, higher quality and less exposure to the challenges of remote fabrication.
Build it in Adelaide. Install it in the outback. Less time on site, better outcomes for clients.
Safety first — especially when help is far away
Remote work carries inherent risks that don’t exist on metropolitan project sites — distance from emergency services, communication limitations, extreme weather, and the physical and psychological demands of extended isolation. D&S Resources manages these risks through robust systems, experienced supervision and a safety culture that runs through every level of our team.
- ISO 45001 certified health and safety management system
- Site-specific risk assessments and JSEA/SWMS for all remote scopes
- Emergency response planning for remote and isolated sites
- Mental health and fatigue management for FIFO and extended-stay teams
- Communication protocols for remote locations including satellite and UHF systems
- Medical and first aid capability appropriate to site remoteness
- Incident reporting and investigation systems
Our safety record — more than 1.2 million safe work hours — reflects the discipline we bring to every site, regardless of how far from Adelaide it is.
